SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. is a Belgian consulting engineers company, founded in 1985 in Brussels, and specially working in developing countries worldwide (Africa, Asia, Latin America and The Caribbean). Our headquarter has been transferred to Namur in 1997.

The company has been created by a group of engineers, architects, hydro-geologists and economists. SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. is totally independent of any group, manufacturer or consortium and is a Belgian limited company.

SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. is specialised in water supply, sanitation, rural development, environment, irrigation, agriculture, breeding, rural infrastructures and constructions, project's evaluations, rehabilitation, environmental protection, agro-industrial projects, hydro-agricultural projects, territorial management, GIS (Geographical Information System). Its human and technical resources enables SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. to undertake all stages of projects, from the identification studies to operation, including all design and evaluation stages and even "turnkey" contracts. We have conducted more than 600 projects up to now.

We usually work for : ground-level communities, private investors, governments, bilateral fund raisers ( A.F.D., CTB, KfW, ...), and most of the multilateral and international fund raisers (African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Union, InterAmerican Development Bank, World Bank, ...).

SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. has several sub-offices and branches in Europe, Africa and Asia. The annual turnover is about 5.000.000 €.

The permanent staff includes more than 30 engineers or highly graduated specialists and 5 technicians. SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. relies on a data-base of more than 5000 highly specialised consultants in order to answer in a fast and accurate way to any kind of technical problem.

In 2000, SHER Ingénieurs-Conseils s.a. got the Royal Export Award and has been ISO 9001 certified in. All our agents and experts are fully implied in this process, aiming to the improvement our services' quality.
